About Us

About Our Founder

I'm Nichola Robinson — founder of NAL Business Management, sales expert, single mum, and someone who learned business the long way: by doing it.

I started out in my mum's lighting business, doing everything from making tea to running national accounts. Over the last 33 years, I've worked in construction, interiors, events, youth development, music, and more. Every service I offer is built on lived experience — not just theory.

Whether it's business development, content strategy, or coaching teams, my focus is simple: practical help that gets results. No fluff, no funnel spam — just real conversations, built-in accountability, and straight-talking support.

NAL stands for Nurture, Align, Leverage. It's also named after my kids (Alicia and Lachlan) and our dogs (Bean and Milo) — because business and life aren't separate in my world. They never have been.

What I Believe

  • You don't need to "sell" — you need to explain clearly and give people a reason to trust you.
  • Business development should be embedded, not bolted on.
  • If you can talk, you can sell. If you can listen, you can lead.

I work remotely from Manchester (and all over the UK and Europe), helping SMEs grow with confidence, clarity, and no wasted energy.

Let's talk about what's holding your growth back.

Professional Introductions and Networking

A key part of NAL Business Management is connecting people, businesses and opportunities across construction, commercial interiors, sustainability, events, sales and business development.

If you engage with us, work with us, attend one of our events, register your interest, join our network, or contact us through the website, we may identify people, businesses, events or opportunities that we believe could be relevant to you.

Where appropriate, we may make a professional introduction.

This may include introducing you to:

We will only share information that is reasonable and relevant for the introduction, such as your name, business name, job role, business email address, LinkedIn profile or the reason we think the introduction may be useful.

We do this because relationship building and making useful introductions is part of our work. Our lawful basis will usually be legitimate interests, where we believe the introduction may support genuine business, event or sector-related opportunities. We will always consider whether the introduction is fair, relevant and expected in the context of your relationship with us.

You can ask us not to make introductions involving you at any time.

We will not sell your personal information.

We will not share sensitive personal information unless there is a clear reason and lawful basis to do so.
